Shipping Rates

  • Domestic shipping: for all course materials delivered within the UK there is no additional charge to the customer.
  • International shipping: for all international orders we have a flat rate shipping fee of £7.50. The equivalent value in your domestic currency will be added to your order at checkout.

Processing Your Order

Online attended courses – on receipt of your payment we will issue joining information for your course, which can take up to 48hrs. If you have requested a hardcopy set of course materials please make sure you have provided a delivery address.  These are usually despatched approximately 2 weeks prior to the course starting.  We usually use Royal Mail for the delivery of course materials.

Online On Demand – on receipt of your payment we will set you up with an account on our learning management system and send you out your joining information which can take up to 48hrs.  For some of our courses, you can add a complimentary set of hardcopy course materials to your order and we ask that you ensure you provide a delivery address. We usually use Royal Mail for the delivery of course materials.

Refunds and Cancellations

Customer Cancellations – courses arranged by Tkm

Please note that this cancellation policy applies only to bookings invoiced by Tkm or one of our associates.

Attended live – online or in person

If a customer cancels their booking more than 30 days in advance of a course they will receive a full refund of any fee paid, less the cost of any materials that may have been issued.  If the cancellation is received 30 days or less before the course, the following will apply:

  • For cancellations that are received 30 days or less but more than 14 days before the course start date, customers will incur an administration charge of 50% of the course fee with the remainder of the fee refunded;
  • For cancellations that are received 14 days or less prior to the course, or where the customer does not attend the training course without giving prior notice*, the course fee is non-refundable.

Candidates can be substituted by the customer at any time although substitution 14 days or less prior to the scheduled course date may incur an administration charge of 25% of the course fee where candidates need to be pre-registered with an awarding body.

Please note: candidates are required to complete the full course to be eligible to sit any of the assessments.  Those arriving more than 30 minutes after the scheduled start time may join the course although may not be able to sit the assessment.

In-house Courses or Group Bookings – Customer Cancellations

In-house courses or group bookings usually require either a deposit to be paid at least two weeks prior to a scheduled course or a purchase order to confirm the booking.  If a customer cancels their booking more than 14 days in advance of a course they will receive a full refund of any deposit paid, less an administration charge of £50.  If the cancellation is received 14 days or less before the date the course is scheduled, the following will apply:

  • For cancellations that are received 14 days or less but more than 7 days before the course, customers will incur an administration charge of 25% of the agreed fee for the delivery of training with the remainder of the fee refunded;
  • For cancellations that are received 7 days or less prior to the course the deposit is non-refundable.

Where stated on the quotation, courses may be rescheduled up to 48 hours before the planned training date, providing a new date can be agreed with Tkm that is within 30 days of the original training date.  Courses may only be rescheduled once.

Tkm Cancellations

While we will always try our best to make sure advertised courses run as scheduled,  Tkm operates a minimum number policy for all courses arranged by Tkm, meaning that a course will only run if there are a sufficient number of confirmed customers.  Decisions regarding the running of courses are usually taken no less than 14 days before the scheduled course date. Tkm reserves the right to cancel any scheduled courses in the event of exceptional, unforeseen circumstances. In the event a course is cancelled by Tkm, course fees will be refunded in full and alternative arrangements will be made where possible.

Payments

Unless otherwise agreed, all payments for courses must be cleared prior to attendance. Acceptable methods of payment are credit and debit cards at the time an order is placed or bacs payment.

Tkm reserves the right to make a charge for:

  • payments by any method that are returned unpaid by the issuing bank or building society;
  • invoices that are not paid within the timescale specified.

Certificates

Certificates will be sent to successful candidates at the earliest opportunity after they are received from the awarding body, unless a customer has overdue invoices on their account.

Online Purchases – Returns and Refunds

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14-days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Please note that Online On Demand course fees cannot be refunded after you have logged on to the learning management system.  There are additional terms and conditions that apply to course fees – please see the Booking Terms and Conditions below.

To start a return, you can contact us at info@tkmconsulting.co.uk.  If you requested hard copy materials, you will need to return those in the condition they were received in to receive your refund.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

We cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 14 day cooling off period

Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
