Frequently Asked Questions
I've submitted my booking form. What happens now?
We will always acknowledge your booking form and provisionally reserve you a place on any public courses.
Approximately 2 months prior to the course start date, we will issue an invoice and your place will be confirmed on receipt of your payment. We will also issue full joining instructions. If you book within 2 months of the start date, we will issue your invoice on receipt of your booking. Please note that we usually require payment before you can begin your course.

I am interested in completing a certificated course. Can I still sit the assessment if I order and pay for modules individually?
Yes, providing you complete the full syllabus for any of the regulated qualifications we offer, you are able to sit the assessment.
Please make us aware of your intentions - sometimes syllabi can change and we may need to make some special arrangements for you.
How long do qualifications last?
None of the qualifications currently offered by Tkm expire although some have recommended refreshers.
Is in-house training certificated?
All qualifications can be run in-house. Any training delivered by Tkm can be recognised by FYI's badges of achievement scheme so that you have a record of learning for those that attended.
Is the assessment included in the cost?
If you book by individual modules, you need to book and pay for any assessment separately. Costs of assessment are included when you book and pay for a course in full. We will always clarify whether the cost of your assessment is included when we issue an invoice.
I've changed my mind about which course I want to attend. Am I able to change my booking?
We will always try and accommodate your request although if the course you originally booked is face to face delivery cancellation charges may apply. Our booking terms and conditions are available here.
Do I have to sit the assessment for a course I book?
You can complete any of Tkm's courses on an attendance only basis. Please note that if you book a course including an assessment, the assessment fee is usually non-refundable if you subsequently decide you don't want to sit the assessment.
Can I get a record of CPD for completing the training?
Attendance at Tkm's training courses or sessions is recognised by FYI's badges of achievement scheme. This includes the completion of CPD. Further information is available from their website.
I would like a certificated course that is customised for my organisation. What will the costs be?
Tkm will always customise courses to meet clients' requirements. If you would like a certificated course it is essential that the syllabus is covered for those attending to sit the assessment. Costs will depend upon the level of customisation and we will discuss this with you after you contact us.
How long are the modules?
The majority of courses run by Tkm are intensive learning courses and the time allocated for each module depends upon the course. Please note that the time allocated does include some time for working through exercises either before or after the session.
How is the on-line training run?
Tkm usually uses Webex to deliver on-line training. As the majority of Tkm's courses are intensive learning courses, numbers for on-line courses are limited to 6 people.
