The Trussell Trust was our chosen charity during 2023, with a donation for every attended-course booking.
We are pleased to confirm that we donated a total of £4,520 during 2023.
Usually supporting a different charity each year, the team at Tkm Consulting has decided to continue to support the Trussell Trust during 2024 due to the cost-of-living crisis.
Heather Jack, Frank Rankin and Liz Taylor have all worked in information governance and the delivery of training for 25 years, and offer consultancy as well as running a wide range of specialist training courses online throughout the year.
Liz Taylor, MD of Tkm Consulting, stated: “Last winter, 225,000 people in the UK used a food bank for the first time, and before the end of this winter the Trussell Trust expect to give out over one million emergency food parcels. The cost-of-living crisis is having such an impact on so many people, and we wanted to continue to show our support for those who have been hardest hit.”
For every person booked onto a ‘live attended’ course in 2024, and every booking onto a self-study Practitioner course, Tkm Consulting will donate between £20 and £50, depending on the cost of the course.

Food bank teams are working tirelessly to ensure help continues to be available, but ultimately, no-one in the UK should need to turn to a food bank as all of us should have enough money for the essentials. The support of Tkm Consulting will help food banks within our network continue to provide emergency support, while we work together in the long term to build a country without the need for food banks. The Trussell Trust supplies more than 1,200 food banks across the UK, offers support and guidance to those using food banks, and campaigns for political change to end poverty and the need for food banks.
